i used to play way back in 4th grade,we would play at lunch,but everyone would pick on me because i was the girl,and apparently girls aren'r good at yu-gi-oh.

I eventually schooled all of them,and they shut up about it.

My friend goes to Tourneys (and wins) with his Exodia combo deck. Amazingly, its so fast it kills unhindered. Funny part is that he always plays during homeroom, so he's so good now.

I used to play and own my friends (when EVERYONE liked this stuff) but unlike pokemon, my interest never made me dive into the competitive meta, I could probably get into it on a sim, but buying cards? Nah.
It also seems like it changes..a lot..
More info would be cool, from someone..

This is also makes me wonder how the pokemon card game is doing now..

the only thing that would make me play again is if there was a free sim or all my friends suddenly started liking and i somehow got rich and was able to buy cards without spending everything i have

Enjoy everyone, sadly my computer isn't sufficient enough to run YVD, or hamachi so I've been out of the dueling picture for almost a year know.

Still have some vet friends from the YGO boards, but a couple of them quit, or started sucking a lot.

I haven't played with the actual cards in ages (cost of cards+lack of people to duel), but I still go on YVD every now and then.
