With newer version of No$gba (2.6a) every game runs smoothly expect days of the ruins.

not every game works with 2.6a...

you could either try using a different renderer (in the options) or you'll have to wait until there is a newer version of the emulator and hope that it has improved speed

I'm starting to have doubts that the new version will come out. Did the guy give up.

It could be absolutely anything to be honest.
