ok, i've used this emulator for awhile now, and all has been well, untill this morning were for some reason, opening any rom (gba and DS) causes the emulator to obtain the most hated "not responding" message, and crash.

i'm using version 2.6 (or whatever the latest free version is), i have no BIOS, no add-ons no patches etc, just a clean emulator.

anyone know why its decided to hate me?

its enough to turn a grown man emo about it.....

Try deleting no$gba.inp/no$gba.ini files as well as check graphics drivers.

EDIT:

Oh, I had the same problem on my old computer, I never really fixed it though --> I got a new computer soon after :P

Good to know it s working now :) The reason you didn't see an extension is that XP and greater have an option enabled by default that hides the file extension for known file types. Annoying in my opinion, especially when troubleshooting another PC.
