posts like this dont help that fact, people are trying hard to come up with a solution for you, the least you could do is be patient,
if you have problems with black figures, and none of the downloaded roms work, either try changing you 3D renderer to opengl, or the rom was badly dumped, so you'll have to wait for someone else to upload a better working version.

:'( im having the same problem. the first rom i cant get to work in ages... thanks for all the tips but still not working. have tried 4 different roms of the game. all same thing. maybe this game uses a graphics engine or "type" that an emulator hasnt yet got working... who knws. but i think its emulator side not the roms... i guess the future will tell, HOPEFULY!!! anyone who finds a solution or a working emulator/rom for this game pls email me @

I was thinking that perhaps changing more than one option and then loading up the game might change something, so I shall try that in awhile.
However, I'm open to any suggestions anyone has that could possibly help.

i just downloaded the US version of the rom and the same thing happens but unlike other versions ive had it goes through the intro without crashing and i think when you're about to have the first fight it then goes blank....anyone with similar problems and the characters are still black but the backgorunds are not in this version,wierd!!!
there are reports of this happening with no$gba with this rom
not every ds game will run on no$gba it seems like this is also one which is incompatible, hopefully either a patch for the rom or the next version of no$gba will run it.
i would say wait until the next version of no$gba comes out and hope that it runs it..

??? alright my problems a bit different i downloaded this rom from isohunt. load it into my No$GBA 2.6 it loads up fine shows the square-enix and the screen after that then goes to black screen and doesn't move forward to the start screen or anything. anyone know what may be causing this? i would really love to be able to give this game a try but can't do a thing with it at the moment. any help would be most appreciated

you problem was answered in my previous post....
at this point in time the game doesn't run on no$gba and you will have to wait until the next version comes out and see if that will run the game any better....

IDeaS released a new emulator just today... I managed to get past the start screen for World Ends with You. I'm pretty sure this one will work.
