Have the same problem as above.it only gets to the start screen but the icons are blacked out,after numerous tries i managed to get where the start was and started but the characters and everything is black except for the background and music plays just fien but cnt see jack shit!!!

I am using no$gba 2.6a as well, and when I load it up the game seems to work fine, however nothing works. No matter what button I press, the game does not respond to my input. The game will then hold at the Title Screen no matter what I try to do.

exactly the same problem i have but if you look real close at the bottom screen ull see two blacked out places at the top of the bottom screen.i clicked on the left one and the game crashed :P later clicked on the right one and it progresses but guess what characters are black,icons are black everything is black except for the background and music keeps playing.....WTF??someone PLS HELP !!!!!!!!!!!
==You are quite right. That circle on the left seems to be the New Game button, or some such. When it goes through the opening everything seems okay, but then the game starts and everything goes to hell. You cannot see anything but the bottom screen's background:
At first I thought this was some sort of effect, as the main character was standing upright on the top screen, but then it became apparent that he was supposed to be saying something and everything else was just black This is how the game normally looks:
I tried cycling through the different backup media forms, but nothing seemed to happen with any of them. Is there some amount of time that I should leave each option to see if it fixes the problem, or what?
I would greatly appreciate even the slightest help anyone could give.

but I found no option to change the sound acceleration to full, as I run on a Vista system. Perhaps you could try that and then see if that works.
