i'm trying to boot up a final fantasy 3 (EU) DS rom which i got off of romsite.net and it's giving me error on startup along the lines of (translating from french  :-[):
"Unable to access save memory. Try again after turning off your console and reinserting the DS cartridge."

firstly, does this mean the whole game will be in french, or is that just the default language?
and second, any ideas on how to overcome the error and get the game going??

i got my hands on a copy of the english version of the rom, the error message is the same, and is as follows:
"Unable to access Backup Memory. Please try again after turning your system OFF and reinserting the DS card."

after a bit of tinkering, i figured out that it works on the EEPROM settings and on FRAM...

Your save type is wrong. With No$GBA, goto the options and then change "NDS Backup Catridge Media" option. Keep changing until you find one that works.
