I was wondering if there are any emulators that allow you to connect to another persons computer through the internet.

Like my friend is running Visual Boy Advance, and I'm running it at my house.

Is there a way to connect through the internet so we can link up and play together?

Thanks.

The most I've done, personally, is connect via a SNES emulator. I know for certain that there are ways to play with two GBA emulators - on the same PC.

After reading through a No$GBA FAQ, it says that the WiFi (for the DS) isn't properly emulated yet. A sign for the GBA version? Who knows.

Someone else will probably post some of their knowledge in a bit.

The problem is that the amount of data being sent between two clients is huge. Not even a ADSL or cable connection would cut it.

As for the link Ring_Of_Fire posted, VBALink does work and connect online. The problem is as I have mentioned would be lag due to high amount of data packets being sent.

Unless the VBALink developers can work on compressing the data before being sent (as well as decompressing the data fast enough so the gameplay won't go out of sync), GBA Emulation online play is just not possible right now.
