Hi to all ...

This is my first time, so I hope I don't make any errors in asking and posting ... *cough2* anyway ...

Recently I just played the Breath of Fire II game in the GBA emulator (VisualBoyAdvance). Everything went okay until after I battled Shupkay in Highfort. After the battle, the party ran to the top castle and the castle began to crumble ................................... and then the game crashed there ...

I think especially to those people who has played the game, is this a common problem? I mean, has it ever happened before? Is there any way to fix it? Since I have repeated that part for several times already and it always crashed in that part :(

Thank you for all the help that I (hopefully will) get :)

When you say the emulator crashes, do you get an unhandled exception from Windows, does the emulator just lock up, or does something else happen?

to Universe_JDJ:

Nothing comes from Windows. I don't quite get what you mean by lock up though; the picture just stopped and I believe no button functions anymore (since when I pressed the turbo button, the percentage didn't go up above 100% ). Is that what you mean by lock up?

to qwertipman:

I am quite a fan myself :) ... although I have to say that even the best ending for BoF Series endings haven't really satisfied me so far.

Before we go into specifics, could you try redownloading the ROM from another source. If it is the ROM, this'll make things easier. If you need another website goto romsite.net.

How does that saying go...?

"That's how the castle crumbles"

Ha ha ha, sorry to be a bother, and I hope the game works out for you.

Good news (at least to me :p)

Universe_JDJ:

I've redownloaded the ROM from the website you gave me, and there's no problem to it now :) So it's definitely the ROM problem earlier :S

To Wolfus:

That makes sense ... yet if that the fact, I believe Capcom won't be able to release up to BoF V though ^^
Nice banner btw; I've never really give much detail attention to see that Hand of Cruelty's horse has white eyes :o :p

Thank you for all the help :)

Well, I'm new here and I have just the same problem. ._. Dreizehn said that he can play normally now, but I still can't. I've downloaded the Breath of Fire II (U) from that romsite.net and the ROM was perfectly the same of the others I've downloaded times ago, trying to solve my problem. The game still crashes when the tower is getting destroyed or something like this. I use VBA 1.72 and I'm having this problem since July or almost. Well, I've also downloaded the (E) version, but I'll have to play the whole game again to check if this version is perfect. o_o And what if it isn't? And I don't think that Dreizehn played it whole again to check it.

Please, help me. ;_;/
