I downloaded Megaman ZX (E) and started playing. I don't have any problems with the gameplay, speed, sound or anything, but I just can't seem to be able to save. I'm using the latest version of no$gba, and I've tried almost if not all the NDS Cartridge Backup Media options possible.

So, any ideas on what to do to save?

And that's where it is in case you didn't bother to check before typing...

If all the save type options don't work, I think you should consider trying another emulator.

Any suggestions? Ideas doesn't work, and it works on Desmune but it runs slower than a turtle, while with no$gba it runs as it should, and sometimes even faster (but then again, I can't save on this one)

I thought NeonDS could play this game, I'm trying to recall now so I can't be sure...

Well, I just tried that one, the game runs slow, graphics are a bit messed up, and it somehow turned a game in english back to japanese...

Guess I'll just wait till the next verion of no$gba. Though it does bother me that almost no game I've downloaded can be saved in that emulator... pokemon seems to be the only exception...

If its multiple games that are not saving, then its probably the emulator itself.

Try other emus before you go beserke and start destroying stuff....

As for the saving problem on No$GBA, you could try this:

1) Play normally then save through the game. (Get the save type by accessing the information for the relevant information from www.romsite.net)
2) Immediately after saving through the game, press the * button on the Numpad to restart the emulator.
3) Try to load the game.

Other things to look out for:

* Is a /BATTERY/ being created in the No$GBA folder?
* Do you have write access to the BATTERY folder?

Thanks for the help, and the link to the site, but I still can't save. I used the Save Type: Eeprom - 64 kbit for MegaMan ZX, and still didn't work.

I have access to the BATTERY folder by the way ( http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/6167/batterylz6.png ), but I more than likely don't know as much as some of you, so I don't see what difference it makes.

I'll try with a new rom of the same game and see if it's not an issue with the roms I've been getting from a certain site (hopefully it'll be something as simple as that)

Edit: New rom works, so I'll go download them all again from that link you just posted JDJ. Thanks for the help! If I ran into any problems, I'll let you guys know
