whenever i try to play my pokemon fire red, after i click start at the start menu

a screen comes up that says "the 1m sub-circuit board is not installed".

i have tried various pokemon red and leaf green and they don't work.

Option > Emulator > Save Type > Flash 128K, Restart the Emulator
