when i try running this it gives an error rom image crashed. should i change something in the settings?? or should i just download a different version.

Try changing some of the settings and see if that helps.. Or wait for someone to post if they can get it work...
PS: I think NeonDS can run this...

Did You Try UnZipping The Rom??
When im Desprette (Spelled Wrong) i just run the Zip and it Crashes
yet i keep running Zips....Sad..
