Forums · Nintendo DS Lite + ROMS = Applicable? How?..
Right now, I'm planning to buy a Nintendo DS Lite, but I've heard and saw in the internet about this Card (R4 Ds maybe), which functions like a usb flash drive, that you can stored download ROMS from the internet and you ca play it there. Also like other files like musics, movies etc..
Now the question is, (for those who have):
Is it worth for me to buy this one? Is it ok for me just to have R4 DS and NDS Lite?... Any comments and opinions is needed.. So that I will not regret in the future... Tnx for the help.. very appreciated... ;D

yesh it is worth every penny!
i just bought the R4 and a ds lite, and works perfectly ^-^ i can play diddy kong racing, final fantasy, pkmn pearl/diamond, just ANY ds rom i want to, perhaps you son't know the details, but the R4 is the size of a normal ds cartdrige plus you'll need a micro SD memory, i recommend you a 2GB one, so you can store as much roms as you want. also i have moonshell, is a homebrew application that plays mp3, mpgs, jpges, etc... any question? ask Youtube! 8) only search for R4
oh, and you might be thinking: what's the difference between the R4 and the M3 simply? (or any other slot-1 cards) they are all the same, they can do the same.

How much is the R4 cartridge and the 2gb micro card for it?
Also, if you use games in this way, can you play and trade online with others?
If Im gonna invest that much cash in this, I at least wanna know I can wirelessly battle and trade with others.

yes you can, i just battled my cousin on DBZ Supersonic Warriors 2, he's got the original game and i was playing on my R4 8) we didn't have a problem at all, linking and multiplayer is not affected (as far as i know, and have discovered)
and the price varies, just go to ebay and search, i bought mine in mexico for 120 USD moreless, but it was a 2GB microSD and 3 DVDs full of roms.
