I've search the forum and I haven't seen (maybe i missed it or something..) a topic for it so i made one..  ??? :-[

Your system does have an effect on the speed of the emulator. The better your system the better the emulator will run. Also try closing down any other programs before running the emulator and setting your process priority to high. (See here for details, scroll down to the bottom of the first post and you'll see it.)
