I use a mac...and VBA didn'r work but I switched to Boycott Advance and now i can play GBA ROMS.

But the problem is that no matter what version of Pokemon (Leaf Green, Sapphire, Emerald) I play...it freezes on me when i try to enter the Pokemon Centre or PokeMart in the first town that has them. So i barely get pass playing 10 minutes!!!

Anyone else have this problem?


This problem is really frustrating me and i would REALLY appreciate it if someone could tell me how to resolve this problem.

Maybe that's related... And if you have an Intel mac then maybe you could try CrossOver/Darwine to see if a windows emulator works...

Nope, don't have the Intel Mac...it'd be cool if I did though, lol. Anyways, thanks for replying...I was wondering WHERE i could get this BIOS file? thanks again.

thanks, but I just tried, and i did get the extra "GBA" screen at the beginning...but i still cannot manage to center the pokemon centre ><" any other ideas, pls?

hmm try a differant emulator to see if it works on that

any particular recommendations? or perhaps other solutions? cause Visual Boy Advane didn't work for me either...i just got a white screen...is there some way to fix that maybe?

Did Boycott Advance help in any way, with the BIOS?

Well it got rid of the white screen so i could acutally play, the Boycott Advance, I mean. And as for the BIOS, all I really found different was the "Gameboy Advance" screen at the very beginning...I still froze trying to enter the pokemon center/pokemart.
