Whenever I try to open a ROM, I get a message that says either "Unable to find Video Driver" or "Unable to find audio driver." Then I get a message that there was som error and it needs to close and it closes..... ???

Hmm.. On a guess, the emulator isn't compatible with your hardware, or you don't have graphics/sound drivers installed.
Though, might I ask if you've tried Project64 or 1964?
