When playing pokemon fire red(or any rom/emulator for that matter) I have huge graphical issues when using a large resolution.

For example, with pokemon fire red the X1 screen looks great(just like a regular GBA) but once I enlrage the screen to X2 or even full screen mode(800x600) I start to get messed up pixels and screwy text.
I was wondering if there was an addon or setting that allowed me to play full screen mode with no graphic issues. I remember GC had a gameboy add-on that allowed you to play the game on your tv.

This would benefit me even greater in a week when I get my 42 plasma, I hope to play all my roms on it.

Comp specs:

-Vista 32 Ultimate
-2GB RAM
-7900 NVidia
-2.8GHz Intel core 2 duo

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's the whole thing... It's only a rom suited for and only being compatible for GBA so I don't think that playing it on a 42 inch would be such a good gaming experience lol. They're only roms and therefore lack graphics and these kind of things, they only show good x1 because that is what it was originally made for, the bigger you put the resolution, the more pixelised it gets, in other words the pixels used to show what's on your emulator or the rom, would start to glitch up because they get bigger and in this situation bigger isn't better. So the bigger you make it, the worse that you might find it to look and that's a fact because it even happens with me.

You could try some of the VisualBoy Advance Filters and see if they help, but as Necro said, don't expect much.

I'd advise to set the Frameskip to a very low number (lower than default)
