If you're using Windows XP or greater you can right click on the shortcut/executable --> properties menu --> Compatibility Tab --> Tick "Run in 640x480 screen resolution" --> Hit OK.

These files don't load on my computer because it says I don't have the programs to run them, can anybody tell me what I need for these?
I've got a 128 MB video card and 512 MB RAM, and the emulator still runs as poor as hell. Even with optimal settings, too.
I noticed that there was a tip on the first page "Get a better computer," but I really don't think that will do much. If I can run full-screen WoW, then I should be able to run a small, windowed DS.
I'll wait for a newer version to come out, but I'm just giving the guys who care a heads-up about PC specs.
You got to remember that games designed for PC are actually designed and optimized for use on the x86/x64 architecture. When working with emulators you actually have to emulate the two cores (in the case of the DS) and that code written for emulation would have to be reverse-engineered. That code also would not be optimized for speed, more for compatibility.
In the case No$GBA and probably other Nintendo DS emulators, the biggest bottleneck is in the CPU not the GPU or RAM. That's why assigning it a higher process priority gives significant speed increases for most users.
Has anyone found out the reccomended specs for the DS emulator, then? I can see how all of the different emulators and ROMs will produce different effects, but perhaps a standard can be set if PC specs are an issue.
