ok i wanna play diamond or pearl but do you guys recommend me downloading it not or wait for another version to come out? btw how slow is the speed and what kind of problems occur?
Speeds vary depending on your setups but aroud 70-100% seems to be average. Most problems can be fixed, as you can see on the first post. Waiting for the new version is probably your only main option if you are dependent on high speeds.
i think the factors that affect how fast it goes is probly not the processor speed but more likely the cache.....cuz i tried it on my 1.86ghz core 2 duo with 2x2mb cache and it works better than it would on a ds, i then tried it on my pentium 4 with 3.4ghz with 1mb cache and it was working around 80% but i only have 2 computers so i cant really base it all on that, anyone confirm?
When i download DS roms, they don't come with the .ips files.. Where do i get them??
*
I can get Pokemon Diamond's .ips file here but for other roms like Pokemon Dash & Pokemon Ranger, i can't seem to get the .ips file.. Where do i get them..
P/S: Sorry for the double post.

Sorry doesn't cut it! RULES are clear, Use the MODIFY button next time!
The .ips patch is only required to enable loading of saves in Diamond/Pearl... The other games shouldn't need patches if you set the correct save mode...

I have the same problem as him, the first few times the work around worked, but now the screen turns black instead of white and I can't access the box in any way, tried different ones too but still no succes :(
I have no idea if what I'm about to suggest will actually work. Have you considered using the save game editor to edit whats' in each box? Eg. Removing anything unwanted.

the problem is that I have windows vista, so I don't know if the dll file that is missing in windows is the same as the file in xp.
I 'm willing to give it a try but fear to screw up my new system :s
Well, as far as i know, there is no fix at the moment. You'll just have to hope a new update fixes it. Maybe someone else reading might know more though...
I'm not sure what you've done... You've haven't updated display drivers or anything have you?... Does moving your old save out of the Battery folder and trying to start a new game help btw?
