Hello everyone, I'm trying to get Pokemon red on my iMac. Ive found 3 or 4 emulators for the mac, but when ever i get a Pokemon rom it just doesnt work. Does anyone know where i can get the right downloads for my iMac?

Try these - I don't think these are Universal binaries though... So you'll have to hope Rosetta doesn't slow things down by too much.

ok, i got VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.4 to work for 2 random games, Asteroids and Pong, but i cant seem to find a version of Pokemon (either red, blue, silver, or gold) that will work on it.

yea, the games work on both Boycott Advance and VisualBoy Advance, but the Pokemon games wont work...

Maybe you should try redownloading a different copy of the game from another site and see if that helps... Or try seeing if you can run the windows version of the emulator using CrossOver/Darwine...

ok, i got Darwine and i followed its instructions. I opened Xcode, and through that i opened the Darwine program, but i dont know what to do after that...

There should be instructions on how to compile it... If that doesn't work you can get the CrossOver Mac trial here: http://www.codeweavers.com/products/download_trial_macosx/
