Sweden is a place for piracy needs (piratebay.org was founded in sweden) but i think mp3's are illegal yet they shouldnt be as it was so easy to copy and transfer like a viruse with people losing money, than just cd's lp's etc.. it started from audio cassettes then cd's and its been easier ever since.... it doesnt help that itunes syncs illegally downloaded mp3's into peoples ipods either.

in my opinion, if you download something it is not illegal UNLESS it states that it must be deleted after a certain time ( usually 24 hours) after that it becomes illegal.

also if you download something and you already own an ORIGINAL copy then you may keep that download as backup

But there are albums that don't say anything about piracy or even come in sleeves or covers, they can surely be copied and distributed without legal action.  Also people who relly on digital tracks rather than a cd or vinyl will face the horrible depletion of money for P2P, as one person can dowbload it and leech it everywhere.

My opinion is who cares?  I find it hard honestly to hold a place in my heart for people who own a 3 bedroom house in which each room is bigger then my entire house, Watch MTV Cribs then feel sorry for people complaining.  I mean are you serious? In my personal situation I have bills to pay, important ones, and music means everything to me ( cheesy but true ) so should i have to start rationing my music? Like okay this paycheck I can afford half a cd but if I save for a few more weeks I can save enough for like 4? LAME1
