OK I just got a sonic X rom for my visual boy when I put it on to watch it all I got was a blank screen what do I do?

Sonic X did you extract it and find what its extension is? .gba? .avi? .gc? try to download another emulator and play it.
If it fails on another emulator, then redownload the video.

considering that no error message was generated I think that he probably downloaded a bad rom.
