PLEASE, details!!! well, if that's the case, move the save file (you-rom-name.sav) to the folder where the rom is located, that's if you're using the visualboy advance, but since you don't give enough details...
well, you're not supposed to make save files work, the emulator just reads 'em and works, but i didn't knew that kind of file, the visualboy's extension is.sav, also the no$gba, but try moving it into the folder where your rom is located, then run the emu and check if works...
