I can save fine, and the internal battery works fine, but when I try to trade pokemon using emerald it doesn't work. After the text and saving, etc. when I enter the door, the screen goes black and says "Communication error... Please check all connections, then turn the power OFF and ON." It worked the first time I traded (torchic and poochyena), but now it won't work with anything else. ???

Well, you may have an issue with your network, or are you trading through 1 computer only?

Yes, it's just one computer.

If you are trading through one computer, try changing your settings so that the link stats that it is using only one computer to run multiplre emulators.

To do so, goto:
Options> Link> Option

A new window should appear.

In the general settings, make sure you have it on single computer. Than click ok, and restart your emulator. If you are unsure what restart your emulator is, i mean close and open VBA again.

Sorry, but I tried that too, and it didn't work. Maybe it's a problem with the ROM itself... So why did it work the first time?

on my computer i could trade but if i leave 2 vba's open for too long one of them will close by itself!
is there a way to stop this
