ok idk why but my VBA is running VERY SLOW when trying to play chaos black (pokemon) could some one give me some hints to make it go faster it running at about 50-58%  :-/ so ya it kind of sucks so if u know what could help give me a shout

First off... Disable any filters you have (Normal).  Yep, don't even have simple2x going.

Then go to Options/Video/RenderMethod/Direct3D (enabled) (assuming you have a decent video card, it will run faster)

Set your frameskip to Automatic. Options/Fameskip/automatic (enabled)

If that isn't enough, lower your sound quality a little: Options/Sound/11khz (enabled)

Also, when you have your emulator running as a window, the smaller it is, the better it will run.  You might want to try switching to 1x, then dragging it larger.
