What do you think of this possible Sony move?
I think they are nuts.
I always swap games and buy preowned games.

It's true that sony, nintendo and microsoft own the software\games and you pay for the priviledge of playing them, and that it is technically illegal to sell them, but no one ever cares. It'd be ridiculous to prevent that.

I saw this at the bottom of Vercingtorix's linked article:
Bogus or not bogus?: Say it isn't so, Sony! No? OK, how 'bout you, Pachter? "The rumor about Sony limiting the resale of used games sounds phony to me," said the analyst.
Anyways, I don't think it could even be technically illegal to buy and sell used games.  The producer (in this case Sony) has already recieved their cut on that unit; what's done with it afterwards is none of their business.  The intellectual property is still owned by Sony (copyright laws) but the physical property is the legal property of the consumer.

Lol Sony could really screw us over with this ><
They sell the lisense to play the game and let us borrow the software. Wouldn't that mean at anytime Sony would be able to take back all the software and leave us with nontangible lisenses?

I feel this is true, since after all, Sony have been screwing us up recently with all the shit they put in their CDs, I wouldn't expect anything else from Sony.
