Ouch, I'm staying far away from this one, I never liked the PS2 nor the XBOX.

I hate both, but I hate the PS2 less because of Silent Hill 3.

PS2, i like the PS2, i never hated it. GTA, eye toy them sorts of things were cool i liked it. I thought Microsoft were a bit nieve going head on into the gaming world but they managed to drag a lot of stupid ppl with them so kudos. But PS2 gets my vote.

It had to come eventually, but battles for the current console generation are all going to be tough...  Not that everyone will feel the same way.

I voted XBox.  Reason?  Who knows.  Maybe the just memory of four college nerds crowded around a small television killing each other on Battlefront 2...

Th Xbox may have better graphics and one or two really good games, but I have two things two say about the PS2.

1.  RPGs  There are a ton of them on this system, and that is the majority of what I play.  a plus.
2.  Backwards Compatabilty  This means that all PSX generation games work on the PS2, causing an amazinlg vast game library.  a plus (especially at launch).
3.  long load times.  they maybe the longest, but this system is still the better one for the gamer who plays for several hours instaed of a few minutes.

I'll say the ps2 is better. Why? Well its obvious isnt it? The ps2 has sold more games and console's, the ps2 has a huge fanbase for online gaming and offline gaming. Gamers like me use the ps2 to play a serie's of games such as gta, gt4, metal gear solid, tomb raider and many other great games. So i vote for ps2.

you my friend have a good taste the same as me......+3 respect for that

I would've voted for xbox because of the graphics but it lacked in games. It didn't have enough games and it rated poorly for me.

On the side, PS2 won my vote because it carried out the FF series (only a few) and many other games. The Rpgs were a good length and should've kept you hooked.
