so the ps3 is scheduled for a november release (finally)

this is a topic where people can just lay down information and comment on other peoples information

Mah, the PS3 doesn't interest me, it doesn't really offer anything new besides "better graphics"...

Oh, and The predient of Sony has said the console will cost at least 545$!

if you guys have checked out ign ps3, then u will notice that the controller SUCKS full stop.

also, about the price, the president of sony also quoted that "the ps3 will b an expensive games console, but a cheap blu ray media disc player"

Im not buying it until the price drops, its too much.

Man, i just checked out the games on the revolution!!! That has me so pumped for them, as i've been backing the PS3 for quite a long time now. Lol i have to agree with the controller, there wont be a lot keeping me from takin a big bite out of it but PS3 is lookin sweet never the less.

Meh, I don't think the boomerang's going, Sony recently lost the right in a courtcase to use the now famous "DualShock" design.

Oh, and I personally don't think the gaphics on the PS3 will be that good, remember when the president of sony "claimed" that the Ps2 would be able to render graphics like in the film "Toy Story" in real time? Or when he said that the PS3 will go at 120FPS? Or how he recently claimed that the PS3 graphics will be in 4D? Well, lets start off, the real-time graphics on the PS2 weren't capable of Toy Story graphics, it would be impossible to render that in real time even on the X-BOX. Secondly, no TVs avalible are capable of showing 120 FPS, and the human eye can only see a maximum of 60FPS. Finally, when the president of Sony said that the gaphics on the PS3 will be in "4D", he obviously had no idea what 4D is, because 4D is actually time, unless of course the PS3 will turn out to be also a time machine, which I seriously doubt.

i'm not sure is those will be the final graphics, but they looks pretty good to me. also check out sonic the hedgehog, because i'm pretty sure those are the final gameplay grahpics

Mr. President, all the footage shown so far is pre-rendered, so it won't be like that in the final game.

Never the less, I still think the graphics will be pretty sweet never the less. In saying this, I still wouldn't be surprised if the graphics were a big drop out compared to what peopl expected. Again in saying that, we know gaming is going to be different on the Revolution (Wii) because of the controller system.

that's a fair point, however, i doubt sony will let us down with the graphics; they brag alot about what is going to happen, so we will just wait and see what happens at e3

Just been reading some info on the CPU, the GPU and the graphics card of the PS3, apparently, the developers of those parts are suprised that Sony are using them together, since aparrently, they don't work together very well.

why don't you check out today's news. about how sony will return to using the dual shock controller! yes! thank god for that! thank you Mr. Sony!

yeah, discovered that a few days ago, well, never mind, it isn't gonna have vibration this time thought.

On the news the other day it showed the PS3. The controler looked like the original but it's wireless and you actually have to move your controler and arms to like turn the ship and do flips.

Also, from what I've heard (from people who went to E3 and tried out the Dual-shake), they said that the tilting is way too sensitve at the moment.

mebe they will have an option to turn down the sensors or something, i dunno
