All of the Oddworld games for the PSX. Hard as hell to beat, keeps you playing, awesome movie graphics, awesome scenery, completely origional, and awesome characters.

That statement makes no sense to me.
RE4 was on GC for a long time and it was still very successful. And there was only a months difference between the two releases (in the us it was released in July for GC and August for PS2).
i don't think GC has anything to do with it. I think it was just bad marketing or a bad game. They did make a sequel so someone had to have liked it.

They did have bad marketing though, the sales increased though when it came out on the PS2 though
qnzskater's comment makes sense to me. Not as many people own a GC as they own PS2, and even so the ones that own a GC will more likely enjoy a different gaming style to the ones that bought the PS2.
