This will be the first of many polls on console battles.
Each week with be a new console to duke it out. At the end of this bracket each winner will compete against each other until one console is named king! (or queen.. I guess).

Snes, no doubt about it, sure the Megadrive had the sonic games, but other than that, I didn't really play many more megadrive games, while there are loads of legendary Snes games. (SMW, Zelda: ALTTP, Starfox, Mario Paint, Mario kart, and many more I can't name)

In this view, I would go for Genesis. P4 rocked and Shining Force series is da bomb!
Game-wise though, snes is better since it does have more fun games while Sega only offered Phatasy, Shining, Sonic and hmm..nothing. Overall, SNES is still better because of games like CT and the Mana series.
BTW, isnt Genesis made waaay back before SNES was created? I mean, Genesis was being compared to NES first..at least thats what I remember.
