I've recently downloaded some GB and GBC games but I'm having trouble what part of the their names mean

Stuff like: (UE), (UA), (UL), (PD) , [bf], [b1], [b2], [b3], [b4], [!], and etc..

any help is greatly appreciated!

(not sure if this is the right section to post..move as need be)

not sure about (UE), (UA) etc, but here are some common ones language ones.

(J) = Japan
(U) = USA
(E) = Europe
(F) = France
(I) = Italy
(S) = Spain

[!] is usually the initial release
[b1], [b2] and so on are beta releases it seems.

Just stick with the [!] versions that corrispond to the country code you want (i.e. Super_Mario_Land_(U)_[!].gb)
