hey ive seen a lot of , well only a few actually.., but anyways some people have had problems with ruby and sapphire, and i had the problem too, it would often say battery loaded and say 100%, but it would just give a white screen, i looked thru the boards, and saw a bunch of solutions that people gave and i tried them, but they didnt work, i even downloaded 4 different versions of vba! then i just messed around with one of the settings and it worked! the setting that allowed me to play ruby was i had to turn off automatic ips patching, heres the step
1 open vba
2 go to options
3 go to emulator
4 if there is a check on automatic ips patching click it so that theres not a check mark on it.

Yes that will work if you have an .ips patch file in the same folder as the ROM and it has an identical file name (minus the extension).

If you don't have the .ips file though, or it's not named properly, this option won't do anything! But thanks for sharing the tip!
