NOJ announced that the not-so-popular web browser Opera (I just don't like it that much) is coming to the DS in the form of a cartridge, just like a game. Clearly it will use the touch screens capabilities to aid in browsing.

Also it was announced that a TV tuner will be released as well which simply plugs into the DS slot and has a large anntenna sticking out.

Two very interesting products, no mention of a North American or European release. Keep your fingers crossed though.

I can't say I'm pleased with Nintendo's moves here, as I don't need a multimedia device, but these will give the DS the same capabilities as the PSP, save puissance.

Well, anyway, its pretty good news this, oh, and while I'm here, its been recently comfirmed by Nintendo themselfs that the revolution will also have a web-browser of some kind, its still un known if the web browser will be made by opera or not.

Yay! Opera is heading for the DS...and a TV tuner... O_o Anyway, it sounds good because the DS will be a hardcore competitor with the PSP in terms of capabilities.

O shit the Opera thing I'm definitely going to get. But not the TV tuner, the screens are too small for tv.

If people can watch tv episodes on their ipods, they can tolerate a DS.
