That's your firmware.
Tehre have been recent developments in PSP emulation allowing a bunch of emulators to run on version 2.5 so your in luck.
To run PSP isos on a PSP, you'll need a large Memory STick Duo, preferably 1-2gigs, but I manage with a 500MB.

You need a UMD emulator.
I can't find any right now, but they're called fastloader and UMD emulator, I think the UMD emulator is at 0.8.
If you know how to use torrents, and know some torrent sites I'm sure you can find those there.
I'll do a more throurough search tonight when I get home, but right now I'm at work and have limited internet abilities.
