Woot! This awesome Transformers test CGI footage has been making the rounds. If you don’t remember, there is a live action Transformers movie in the works being directed by Michael Bay.
So, the question is; is this footage real? Well, people involved with the movie say no, but it certainly looks pretty good. Having watched tons of test footage like this on all the behind the scenes DVD bonus features of other movies, I’d say this looks pretty real. The animation and compositing is spot on. If this isn’t real, someone just made themselves a great portfolio piece to get a job at ILM.

My opinion: I seriously doubt this is fake, due to the quality of the animation and CGI, if it was fake, I would be suprised.
