People say Microsoft(XBOX) is Sony's(PS2) rival. But have you forgot about Nintendo(Gamecube)? I know Nintendo has SOME kiddish games but don't you somehow feel that those games are more fun?

In my opinion, those who think Nintendo are a "kiddy" companys and only make "kiddy" games are inmature, and little "kiddys" themselfs.

PS2 wins competition. GameCube games were fun. I played Wind Waker and I loved it.But this year XBOX 360 messed up. PS3 is taking its time fixing all the bugs , problems and getting some really cool games. MGS4 and FF 7
and Kingdom Hearts 2!

I think Sony PWNS Nintendo, but Nintendo still has their classic characters like Mario and Link who's names will never die! lol

Sony PWNS Nintendo. Dont get me wrong, Nintendo has great games, like Super Smash brothers and they have the Mario license. But Sony is really moving into the next gen area. PS2 has great games and so will the PS3.

To Aegis: I doubt that they'll make Jak 4. The trilogy is over.

Okay, your information is wrong.  It is NOT confirmed that FF VII will be on the PS3.  The roumor that it is being remade was started when people saw a tech demo of the PS3 at E3 featuring the FF VII opening cinematic.  As for KH II, well, it's was released in Japan for the PS2 on December 22, 2005, and is slated for release in the States sometime in March 2006 (Unofficial and UN-confirmed Release Date is March first).

but because there nintendo games (like SMBM, mario games
just to name a few) are only for nintendo.

Well nintendo is dead now well almost dead sony will rule the gamin systems but i say nintendo is still sony's #1 contender so i will go with both

Nintendo DS, which has old 3 times more than the PSP in japan, infact, theres been such a big demand for the DS, that all stock has run out, even though most stores are re-stocked with DS's every week, and, take a look at the software sales:

I like both cause I grew up with nintendo and sony really caught my attention, but Nintendo is not dead cause they probably have something good coming with the Revolution and I would say the same for Sony's PS3.

I might choose Sony,Better games,graphics,consoles and prices and it's worth your money.

I feel that Nintendo is more worth the money, since its cheaper, and I don't feel that graphics make that much difference to a game, sure, its sometimes better when graphics are better on a game, but those who buys games just for the graphics are complete idiots, and graphics in my opinion, are one of the most least important things of a game, example, super mario bros has pretty crap graphics, did that stop it from being prehaps the most legendary game of all time? Hell no.


And besides, in a recent interview with ATi, the creators of the graphics chip for the revolution, they said that the graphics would be much superior to the ones on the Xbox 360 on the revolution, even though the console will only support up to 480p.

Well I guess that you have a point but overall I still prefer sony to nintendo.

And plus I feel that sony are pretty damn lazy, not only do they leave us europeans way behind everyone else, but they only made one series of games for their system, that was gran turismo, and they let 3rd party companys do the rest, while Nintendo makes alot of games by themselfs, which I feel they are much more entertaining than most of the 3rd party games for The PS series.
