I basically think that ppl should not be in a rush to buy the first next-gen console to appear on the market. I personally think that the PS3 is going to be better than the 360. Let's face it, does the XBOX 360 have backward compatibility like the PS3, which by the way let's you play PSX games with possibly better graphics and sound? I don't think so.

i feel sorry for you. you wasted your money on a
piece of junk. i agree with priest, XBOX 360 doesn't come with
the backwards compatibility like PS2 does or even the PS3 does.

Actually nothing is worth my money...If I ask my father,that great man will just reply back saying"GO AWAY!" lol . I get consoles on Christmas from my dad's friend.But either way PS3 ROCKS!!! Better yet than backward compatibilty , PS3 don't need area codes!! That means the NTSC CD's sold here,means I can buy 5 cd's for around 1 buck or lower. XBOX 360 is down the drain but I'm sure HALO 3 and Ninja Gaiden 3 is gonna make it come back again.Who knows?
From what I've seen of the PS3, the graphics (pre-rendered ones, of course) look no better than RE 4 or twilight princess, all the PS3 has got are slightly improved 3d models, beter textrues, and better lighting effects, other than that, I don't think the PS3 looks "incredible" at all.
One thing is there. Its (PS3) is going to have smooth framerates. So, slow gaming and huge loading times are out of the picture.PS3 now does'nt have area codes.That means no need of modding your console and also it means that in my country I have PAL and I can play NTSC games on my PS3 without any problem.(In my country NTSC games are the "fake" games and one can easily buy 5 of them for less than 1 buck.)
Thats what I think anyway.Can't wait for PS3 to release. :D

Pre rendered graphics are not a representation of the graphics of a console. they're a representation of the ability of the computer that prerendered the graphics into a video form.
