I read about this around a week ago. Its a third party company making it, and it won't have all the magical powers the revolution controller has, and apparantly, it is very unconfortable. The chances are that there will be a lawsuit bitween them and Nintendo.

I reckon it looks pretty similar, but i don't think Playstation were trying to rip the revo controller.
That pic is pretty true though, lol they did steal a lot of things but hey. it wasn't a great idea to steal the revo controller anyway, it isn't too great.

Sony stole lots of things from nintedno, such as the the playstation (yes, it was nintendo's idea, I won't go into detail about what happened) they stole squaresoft from them, they stole the idea for anologe stick and rumble, and many other things I can't be othered to point out.

I'll go into details.
Nintendo approached Phillips to help them make a cd operated system. Nintendo dropped out when they started trying to take over the project so they went to Sony, who took their ideas, dropped nintendo and released the PSX. Phillips' fruit of labour was the Phillips CDi. Basically nintendo was ripped off by two companies at the same time. Fun.

Our stories are exactly the same except you didn't have anything about the CDi. The CDi has a mario and two zelda games, that's cause they used some of the liscencing that was in their contract with Nintendo.

I don't get why people are making such a big deal about the controller thing. =/ Companies steal ideas all the time, it's how they improve =P

Nintendo didn't try to steal it from Sony, Sony stole it from Nintendo, who were sort of copying Sega by making a Cd addon for the SNES (much like the Genesis\Megadrive). But that's all moot. Sony isn't even making this controller, it looks like a third party.
