Someone is hacking goomba, an original gameboy game emulator, to make it play gameboy colour games.

goomba is an original gameboy emulator for GBA. Somone recently made it so you can play gameboy colour games on it.

VBA can do GB and GBC as well as GBA.
This is an emulator for GBA flash carts. Much like pocketnes (it's by the same author). While the GBA hardware CAN play actual GB and GBC games, until this point one needed a GBA bridge to play GBC games on a GBA flash cart.
