Nice site Marc. What about your local book store? or just download some Kanji and Hiragana and Katakana programs that will teach you it. Or take a Japanese course.

that doesnt mean that you know what they are saying now do you.

konnichiwa. anatawabakadesu. omoshiroi!

that would translate into:

hello! you are an idiot. Interesting!

lol...Wish my IME would work than i can type in Japanese.

See we have a few fellows in here who know Japanese.

Japanese do not have an alphabet similar to ours. Their alphabet consist of a consanant + a vowel.

For example:
ka one of their alphabet but they do not have k    a -> which are separate.

They combine their alphabet to make words like the english alphabet.

ka + ze -> kaze ~ equivalent to wind in english.

in a sentence it would be much harder since their is no space in a sentence.

anatawabakadesu.watashiwabakadewaarimasen.

Try to break that down.
