Its was reveled at last E3, which they showed a promotion demo, which was running on gamecube hardware, since the revolution hardware wan't ready for that occation. And hopefully, metroid prime 3 will be much better than the second one, because with MP: echoes, it was just so dull, hardly any action, I once went of an whole hour without seeing a single enemy.
No, metroid prime 3 will not be released for gamecube, retrostudios, the developers of the metroid prime series, have already made a metroid prime game engine compatable with the revolution, as revealed at the TGS (there was a tech demo that was a modified version of metroid prime 2) and there isn't much point in realesing it for the gamecube, since the gamecube is getting near the end of its life...
