Same here. Im supporting the Revolution because Sony alone has enough support with the ps1 alone. A messege to people who are thinking about buying a Revolution... Buy it for the sake of gameplay.

I am getting the Xbox 360 for sure, but I am going to wait until christmas or maybe after to buy it. The first games I am going to get for it are:  Call of Duty 2, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Quake 4. I am also going to get the PS3 when it comes out, I can't wait for it.

I dont really get why people get consoles on release date.. I mean why cant they wait till the prices go down or till the company releases a better version? >_>

And for the question, no.

And the console usually has a fault in it.
Apparenty there has been loads of complaints to Microsoft about the 360 overheating etc.

Exactly, which is why I wait instead of just rushing to the store right as it's released. Though that's a good thing because you get to hear the complaints from the people who purchased it.

I'm staying well clear of the 360, because I've heard no positive feedback about it at all, and the PS3, I'm noy paying all that money just to have a fridge in my bedroom, I'm sticking with the revolution.

[/quote]Get a PS3 if you want the same old game with new graphics, or get a revolution if you want a whole new way of playing games.

I'll be going for the PS3.
Might get the revolution, depends if I have the money and if it can play GCN games.
xBox has the worst games in console history, staying well away from it.

Edit: Wiki says it can, so if I have the money I'll be getting the Revolution.

You know almost every video game system has problems? NES,SNES,N64 = Blowing inside the game. Remember that? Any do you remember the PS2's DRES?

I only ever had to blow inside my NES carts. SNES and 64 never had that problem.

I don't remember hearing that the 64 crashed if you left it on for a few hours. Or that it had an overheating problem. I seem to remember the xbox having power cables that started fires. And the xbox 360 crashing if you left the external power source on the ground.

Sony has always had shoddy systems. The PSX had huge problems with DREs,and the original PS2 would slowly stop playing anything. The original PSP would shoot out the disks if you twisted the system a little.

Nintendo doesn't have that kind of a track record. They must do private beta testing which the other two tend to do on the public.

Lol, you must be lucky, I always had to blow in N64 games, it's a pain in the ass.

Well actually, blowing into carts exascerbated the problem. What happened is you'd get dust in there, then you'd blow to fix it and the spit that would come out when you did so (whether you saw it or not) and it would damage the contacts making the cart worse off the next time. That was not a flaw in the system but in the user.

Compressed air or a cleaning kit are the two ways to avoid that.
