Is there any new information on this upcoming pokemon game? I have heard nothing about it since it was rumoured to be in development. So has anyone found news on this game yet ?

Apart from showing some of the new pokemon that will be on D/P there isn't much there.

And I found some info on Serebii.net:

# They are set in a region different to Kanto, Johto & Hoenn but contains old Pokémon aswell as the new ones
# You are capable of transferring your hard trained Pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen to these games
# There will be many new Pokémon including new Pre-evolutions and Evolutions of Old Pokémon. Currently 5 are known
# D/P will use the DS's Wireless Capabilities and allow for up to 16 Players to be linked at once in a Union Room style situation
# There will be no new Pokémon types but new type combinations such as Steel/Fighting

Yeah, not much info exists on pokemon diamond/pearl, I think that on the next E3 (next may) Nintendo will reveal it.........hopefully.

I really can't wait to play Daimond and Pearl but I heard of new Pokemon game also coming out called "Pokemon Ranger" or something like that. I wish there would be a pokemon game with all the travels and pokemon like in the show. Where you could travel from Kanto > Orange Islands > Johto > Hoenn and be able to actaully capture every single pokemon in this one game.

That would be cool because there is no game with Orange islands!

I think that was just a spinoff in the cartoons. But yeah, it would make a nice addition :).

It would be cool if they came out with these in the upcoming years.

This is what I'd like to see in pokemon diamond / pearl.

1) more than one island, like in gold and silver, because it was a nice suprise when I completed gold to discover I could go and explore kanto too, and I'd like that in diamond / pearl.
2)3D graphics would be very nice.
3)a free online mode, which yo could chat with people, battle, get a job, etc...

I could go on for hours, but, I can't be othered to do that.

How can you transfer pokemon from GBa games to DS?
I'm assuming these games are for DS.

CAuse the GBa wireless and DS wireless were said to be incompatible. And the GBA games don't use the DS' wireless. i dunno. Sounds fishy to me.
