Is there any proof that there are other life forms outside of the earth?

There's no solid proof, but there is a planet (I think it's in the Andromeda galaxy, but with all of the myths about the chaos could and stuff I might be wrong) that can supposedly support life far away.

Yes, living cells were found on Mars from a rover exploration collecting and studing samples from solid matter. Even though they are microscopic they are still considered life forms.

yes there has to be because the universe is endless and somewhere in the endless universe there has to another planet with all the right requirements for which you need to create life. duh.

Watch Stargate on Scifi... now what do you think? There may be an Advanced civilisation somewhere out there...

There's not. If there were, they'd have contacted us. If we were advanced, we'd have found one.

AD, are you saying that there isn't an advanced civilization out there because they haven't contacted us. That has got ot be one of the stupidest things I've heard. How big is the universe? No one knows, but scientists guess (I have no idea where they get their ideas) that there are about 100 billion stars in our galaxy, or something like that, and 100 billion galaxies out there. That's a huge f*cking area!
Light-travel is a tricky subject. You could travel from here to the nearest star outside our solar system at the speed of light and take at least 20 years to get there. So the only ways that a creature can travel billions of light years is either a black hole, if they work, or go at super-light speeds. But you would have to go millions of times the multiple of c (speed of light) and how that would work, I have no idea. Then again, there could be ways that we obviously have no idea about, but what are the chances that they would come to our planet out of all that exists.

I do believe there is life out there, I just don't think we will see it for thousands of years.

from a scientific standpoint i would have to say no.  science tells us that spontainious generation is impossible, even though for some reason some people claim so for evolution.  So i would have to say even if wee just showed up one day and evolved the odds that something impossible to happen twice, well i'd have to say roughly impossible x2.

I said advanced lifeform. If we're at a point where we're wondering if there's others like us out there, I'd hardly call that advanced. So if they're out there and are the same, then no, I'd say there's no advanced lifeforms out there.

Personally I don't think there's anything/anyone out there even remotely comparable to us. I'm not going to waste my time pondering it, if nothing will come of it.

Guys, Think about it, if the milky way consists of billions and billions of planets we don't even know about yet, imagine the other galaxies, There's gotta be a lot of intellegent life outside our earth.

There's gotta be? Why, Marc? I think that there is nothing out there that you could call intelligent. Why? I've got no reason to believe anything else.

we live in a galaxy called milkey way we all know that now if there was a life out side our galaxy then it would be hard to find because we can travel there and satilite can only take picture yet it proves nothing and i dont belive there is any intellgent life form out there.

You mean a worm hole. Black hles are theorized to crush things into almost nothing. Worm holes are a 'short-cut' through space.

As for alien life, certainly possible, hightly probable.

what would happen if they were not advance. XP How would they contacted us?

Light travel? you mean Light-speed....No object can travel at that speed as of today the fastest we have obtained is some Mach speed...and that is getting ever so closer to light speed. How the space affects you would be different from how the earth affects you. If you were to live in space for 20 years and come back to earth it would be like you were gone for hundreds of years.

Wormholes are interesting...Black holes are fun...white holes are boring they take the fun out of black holes....

Wee...so far we do not have a satellite that can go very far because of communication error. If the satellite went to far than you cannot communicate with it to tell it to come back. these television shows and movies does not really matter! Aliens do exist because the person sitting next to you if not originally from this planet. XP

i personally believe that there are some other lifeforms out there. either they are advance than us or not, they are still out there. maybe now is not perfect time for them to contact with us. who knows in the future we're sharing a whole lot of planets with those lifeforms.  8) just like those scifi series!
