The earth was created about 4.7 billion years ago but that really has nothing to do with what could happen. I agree that there is alot of destruction from natural disasters and it continues to prove that we should not under estimate the power of mother nature. Though I don't think that mother nature can actually wipe out everything and destroy life, but you never know what could happen, forces besides mother nature can have a more deadly effect on us. All I know is that I am going to live life at it's fullest, after all tomorrow may not be...

Reason:The Earth has sprung life about like few hundred million years ago. So what are the chances that is going to happen? Not unless some dumba**es made all the nucluar missiles go and boom all the civilization on this planet.

lol @ emerald. Well with everthing happening (terrorism, hurricane's) I think that the end is near for people living near those kind of things sad to say. But the end to the entire planet? I don't think that'll happen anytime soon unless the thing that emerald said will happen.

Ok, logical explanation,
The sun can't blow up or turns into a huge ash ball becuase it keeps burning and reusing it's materials. It'll happen when about billions of years later and that'll happen. But unfortunately, our reproduction is increasing, and most of our resources are being used. And by the weather itself, like tornadoes, storms, earthquakes, this world as we know it will be wiped out.
But I also know that in about 20 thousand years later, there will be ONLY female humans. Why, becuase if you know are male and female x chromozome, females have the same size chromozome as the males about millions of years ago. And if people don't know what's chromozomes, they're pretty much tells what's our genes(female or male). But our chromozomes kept shrinking over the years, so it'll continue shrinking until no more males on the planet. So the reproduction of humans have stop, females will have to figure out how to live and reproduct.

I thought and believed that the world was going to end by the year 2000, well it didn't happen.........
Humanity will instinct ! we all know that , we are all going to die.. its either individualy or we are going to get nuclear bombs blasted in our country and all go to heaven together.
Yeah that could happen too ... but the earth is so big! it can resist many nuclear blasts and some meteors form mars; we all animals would be done and insects will delvelop and they will be the next generation of this planet.
