Has anyone else ever ordered anything from Ahead games?

I placed an order three weeks ago and it has yet to ship and nobody over there will answer my messages or communicate with me in any way.  They did managage to find time to charge my credit card though.  Has anybody else had any good or bad experiences with these guys?

well nutshellbc for objects to be delivered it usually takes 6 - 8 weeks unless rushed

Hello? does anyone here whos posting in the topic (besides me and thaddius) know that you are posting this in the emulation discussion board, does it provide us with new info on a DS emulator? no, Does this topic tell us any news on emulation? hell no, this topic really needs to get moved to the off-topic board.

Indeed, the topic should be moved.
Though the only advice I can offer is to pay for rush delivery next time, but don't worry you should get it eventually.....

but then again, it is still possible that they just stole ur money and have no intention of giving tha stuff u ordered, but I wuldn't worry until 8 weeks has past

actually I did notice, I just didn't wanna bitch about it

Let me clear a few things up. 

1. I am paying $4.95 for 2-3 day shipping (I don't know where you get this 6-8 week nonsence this wasn't something I ordered off a cerial box)

2. According to the website my order has been in their que for three weeks.  According to their website and the confirmation email they sent me my order was to be filled and shipped in 24 hours.

3.  I have tried to contact them through their site, through email and through their IM address on their site.  If I had a phone number I would try that also. They have not responded in any way to me or several other unsatisfied custamer according to resellerratings.com

4.  I would love to cancel my order, but that is not an option on their website and since they wont respond to me I can't cancel my order.

5. Sorry I posted in the wrong place, I hope you are not totally offended.  I posted here because I order a product (Super Card Compact Flash) that I first heard about in this topic and thought others like me who are seeking similar information might also find my thread and think twice about ordering from this company.  Those looking for emulation info might not check the other threads.  If you are still really mad at me feel free to move this thread.

That site in question deals with items for emulating on systems and so on.

That's a stretch I'm willing to live with.

well then, now that I kno tha whole story, it seems that you took a chance with an unreliable company and u were just the next unlucky customer 2 get ripped off

Just so you know, Ahead Games is pathetically slow and seems to have no customer service.  However, they will get you your item eventually.  On another board I frequent, there were a few people who complained, but the item eventually showed up anyways.

Good to know, thanks for the inforamtion beef.  I was going to wait a few more days before contacting my credit card company about getting my money back.  I guess I'll give them a little extra time.
