I've played game on VBA and I couldn't save normaly (when I try to save it says "Error in backup memory"). I've used quick save option and came to that part where you have to go in Ambervale. It's first time that game ask you if you wish to save. If I chose no than I can't enter that part (I supose there's hard battle coming), if I chose yes than game transfer me to the Save Game screen and that same message ("Error in backup memory") shows up and after that it's same as it would be if I chose no.

Can anyone help me please?

I'm becoming desperate I don't won't to play again same game from the begining on some other Emulator.

(I was using VBA versions 1.8.0-beta2, 1.8.0-beta3 (the latest one), 1.7.2 and 1.7.2 Link.

Do a search first, the solution has been posted at least 2 times in the past 2 weeks.

Well I've tried those methods and tried with gbata but nothing seems to work I've tried changing save types and save sizes but it didn't work. Maybe I don't know what to do with gbata (I've tried patching rom with SRAM Patcher and starting with new file too but it doesn't work), can anyone help? Or could maybe an even older version of VGBA be the solution for this problem (It may sound stupid but I was using ePSXe when playing Xenogears and I had to use older version to be able to complete dream sequence)?
