Ok, this news is a day old, but nevertheless, I'll start (this news was taken from www.revo-europe.com
20 years ago today, the first Nintendo Entertainment Systems went on sale in North America!
Though today isn't the nationwide launch date for the NES, October 18th 1985 was the first day of a sales test in New York which was successful enough to get the console a nationwide release the following February.
For many Nintendo gamers, the NES was their first real taste of Nintendo's magic. We wish it a very happy 20th!

[/quote]not much chance of that happening, why? the classic nes series for the GBA, and nintendo are getting quite a bit of money from just putting an nes emulator and a nes rom onto a GBA catridge.
