This has been debated countless times between my friends and I.

On "The Number of The Beast" by Iron Maiden, a song called "Hallowed Be Thy Name" there is a beat, a chord combination, that will sound very familiar.  This is because it is really similar to the music on the last level of Donkey Kong Country(snes).  The music in the game starts out sounding very pirate like, but after you beat the boss half-way the music changes, this is where the "Hallowed be thy name" music comes in.  Listen for yourself.

In the game MegamanX5(psx) the chord music sounds really cool and such, but it sounds really familiar to Pantera "Cemetary Gates".

There are more examples out there, if you know any, please tell me.
