What's the worst controller you've ever used. Let us know.
Keep in mind no one has tried the revolution controller. I don't want ot hear about that one.

I'd have to say for me it's a toss up between the DC and N64, even thuogh I love both systems.

I have Resident Evil code Veronica for DC and your hands get really cramped on that thing after a while. N64 is just wonky.

I haven't used that many controllers. Just the ones for the ps1/2, gamecube and the Xbox. But I found the gamecube controller the irritating one. I still can't figure out what the x and what th y button is. I keep getting them mixed up ;p

I bought a controller for the PC to play roms with, and it was bad not because of the way it fit in the hands, which wasn't all that comfortable, but rather because it looked like a ten button but was actually a four button.  Set up like a PlayStation controller, the four top buttons were just turbo for the main buttons, and the two in the middle didn't do anything at all.  But I bought it for six bucks, so what can I say, you get what you pay for.

Other than that, I don't really have a preference on the consoles.  I'm pretty flexible, I guess, and I have enough trouble with the games to be worrying about the piece of plastic in my hands.

I'd have to say the Sega Genesis controller.  It was just way too big and clunky, even though I loved Sonic.  Another bad thing about it, was that it had thrre buttons, but most of the games only used two (one for sonic).

the worst controller I ever used was one of the Atari controllers a long time ago. It totally sucked because at that time the PS1 controller was undisputed. So actually playing with that ancient thing was lame. -_-

You couldn't have jsut found a picture of it?

So I think most people here hate the xbox controller the most. Which is interesting, cause most people LOVE the xbox.

I said that I hated the N64 controller, but I love my 64.

I'm adding a new one though. The Sega Saturn 3D controlller that came with Knights. It's so bad. It's worse than the DC controller.

I'd like to point out that there are a bunch of systems that had a 3 button controller. Like the Panasonic 3DO, or the Sega Saturn.

Most controllers have 50 million buttions these days. Sony even managed to add so many buttons to their previous design. L2, R2, L3 and R3 are the most useless buttons I can think of. Teh xbox' thumbstick clicks are a little more natural feeling than the PS2s. I dunno. Maybe it's just me.

i liked the old controllers and i don't mind more recent controllers. the xbox controller wasn't too hard for me because my hands are big but having big hands means that playing hand helds like the ds kinda painful.

Actually, I don't think you can even buy Xbox's whale of a controller anymore.  They only make the S version, I think.  But I counted once, and the Xbox and PS2 controllers have the same amount of buttons, and the GC controller is behind by one (the select button, I guess).  That's including the stick clicks.  Its not really too many buttonsif they are all in decent reach, and made of use in most games.

I saw this FPS controller in a store.  The only thing up for the thumbs was the sticks, and all of the other buttons were placed so that the fingers could get to them while gripping the controller.  That would certainly be strange to use, but it might be cool if you play alot of those kind of games.
