You don't need to triple-post

its fable- the lost chapters and i try 2 install as i said its really slow and doesnt go 2 disk 3 when i think it should b. i try 2 get into a folder on the computer so it will b faster but it says invaild ms-dos function and stops copying the files across is  there anything i ccan do

for example right now the install bar is full but i havent changed 2 disk 3 and nothings is happening

extra info: it usally stops when i change disks, i went 2 daemon they say i could b locking but its not on autolock

it worked for the friend who gave it 2 me

dont thinjk its a new virus. is was thinking it was more about not haveing something eg program 2 help do it(with copying). but even loading off disk with daemons just not working, what i mean is that it like freezes so when i load disk 2 for example and press ok, the install starts again but nothing happens and if i leave it for like a hour, it does come up, like if u put the cd in eg auto-start, but by that time the loading is screwed or got 2 the end without useing the other 2 disks

I don't quite know what you are saying as you aren't describing it well, but if it is the case that you have ISOs that aren't installing right when mounted, try buring it.

And btw, if something off happens on your computer, don't always blame it on a virus please. It is rare that it is a virus and often a PEBCAK error. Or one of those ID10T errors. Gota watch out for those.

now its not even reading the disk. and btw its already on a disk i trying 2 load off it. So the first step is mean t 2 b copy the files on 2 a folder, thats when i get the invaild ms-dos function problem. This means that i have 2 load it off the disk. The first disk starts up when i put into daemon and the install starts. It get 2 the swap for second disk and unmount and remount it goes [plz w8] and then the when it goes away i press start but it still isnt in, and the whole thing stops. If this doesnt happen(which doesnt happen very oftern) then when i change 2 disk 2 it loads all the way 2 thhe end of the bar then screws up(there r 4 disks btw). i hope that helps solve the problem cheator :D

Uhh.. no it don't. Using 2 instead of to and b instead of be just happens to make it more challenging infact to determine what you are trying to say.

However, what I believe you are tring to say is that you are putting in a CD, copying it by using the copy/paste function and getting an error. Here is what I have to say on that:

Sometimes when the disc is either dirty or scratched, it will not copy properly. Its because it is trying to read it as fast as it can, and it will cause errors from copying.

Also, if you copy and paste a CD, you can't mount it. Infact, it is the worst thing to do with CDs because really, its better to copy the iso.

Get a program that copies CDs to ISOs. Alcohol does this well and then you can mount it too. Make the ISO of the disc by using a slow read speed. This way, it will be able to use ECC in a better way (meaning that it should not get any errors unless the disc is REALLY dirty or scratched). Then you can mount it. If this is not your issue, please, for the love of god, think before you type so that we might comprehend what you are trying to say.
